Stonecipher: A Book of Seasons

This is the first of Nettles poetry books written in gravestones. The seasons are written in surnames that are nouns, verbs and adjectives that she photographed in Champaign County, Illinois. This four page accordion is printed on both sides and expands to 17.″ This is the perfect book structure as the story never ends and the text can be rolled around in the hand. Enclosed in a 4.5” x 11″ slipcase. 2011.
