Ladies of Letterpress Conference, Asheville

snowball.jpg bea-lol.jpgI attended the first Ladies of Letterpress Conference held in Asheville, North Carolina August 5-7. I spoke on two panels: Day One "Teaching Letterpress" and Final Day Wrap-up Megapanel "The Future of Letterpess." It was an eager and enthusiastic crowd of over a hundred folks, full of young people (and despite the name, lots of guys as well.) You can join this group by going to their webpage here:http://ladiesofletterpress.ning.com/ At their site you can read about the activities and see more photographs of the panels, exhibitors, speakers and demonstrations.
