College Book Arts Association Conference in Iowa City

Despite the winter weather, over 250 enthusiastic book artists, teachers, librarians, and collectors gathered in Iowa City for the first conference of the College Book Arts Association, a newly founded group devoted to this growing field. Here everyone attended lectures, panels, exhibit openings and the final banquet with its silent auction. Most importantly, friendships were renewed and created.
