Bookbinding workshop at UIUC in October 13-14

I will be teaching a popular two-day workshop "East Meets West" on the University of Illinois Campus on the weekend of October 13-14. This class covers the basics of bookbinding and is suitable for beginners. Through the introduction of three distinct styles of bindings, students will learn about binding history, paper, adhesives, sewing, and the essential tools of the bookbinder.
